Team Profiles

The following personnel will be primarily responsible for the facilitation of training  

Mike Noel-Smith is the Director of the Performance Development & Assessment business unit of Al Shaheen. He is an experienced professional with a proven track record spanning over 25 years in the field of Performance Development & Assessment.

He was responsible for the design and delivery of the Officer Leadership Courses & Assessment Programme for the UAE Armed Forces.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and is a certified Behavioural Performance Analyst (Level A & B), of the British Psychological Society.

Mick McEvoy has been involved in training and assessing both youth and adult students for over 20 years.

He is the Deputy Director of Performance Development & Assessment Centre and is passionate about the personal development of his students.

During his time in the UAE has quickly grasped an understanding of the culture and ethos of the region. He holds a Level 7 Certificate in Management Studies, is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management (FInstLM), a Member of the City & Guilds Institute (MCGI) and is an NVQ Assessor.

Kevin Clarke-Brown is the Commercial Training Manager of the Performance Development & Assessment centre.

Prior to working with Al Shaheen, he was responsible for the development and delivery of ILM accredited leadership and management programmes to Emirate businessmen and their managers.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management (FInstLM), holds an Engineering Degree from Cranfield University (BSc) and is a Qualified Teacher.
